Plano North Metroplex (TX) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated

The Plano North Metroplex (TX) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated continues its rich and storied legacy of service and friendship that began on April 1, 1989.  The chapter was chartered with 33 outstanding women in the community.   Now 30 years later, we have grown from 33 members to 55 members.

Mission Statement

Friends Transforming Communities Through Service….

Our core values and principles are to provide service to the community - our friendships are enhanced and cultivated through our service.

We are Impacting…

Lives. We launched a program called SWAG – Serving Wisdom and Grace in partnership with the YWI Program through the Plano Independent School District in 2015.  Monthly interactions provides a platform to introduce them to a variety of activities like the Symphony, S.T.E.A.M, Healthy Lifestyles, and information about our local, state, and national governments.

Communities. Building our relationship with community partners has been a long tradition in the chapter.  We continue this with agencies such as The Plano Housing Authority and the Douglass Community Center just to name a few.

Friendship. The chapter is dedicated to the goals of fulfilling the dreams of the founders of The Links, Incorporated, Margaret Roselle Hawkins and Sarah Strickland Scott, by its service to the community while linked in friendship.
